While this week is Wood-Warbler Week here at 10,000 Birds, I’m giving Mother’s Day top billing because, hey, moms are special! Then again, mothers only get a day but we’re giving warblers a whole week… what does that say about our priorities? Apropos of Wood Warbler Week, Corey’s best bird was a Cape May Warbler much like the one pictured below. My own best was no warbler at all but rather a Green Heron perched in a tree high overhead. Fortunately, I was able to avoid developing heron-neck by employing an advanced birding technique.
