Birdwatch Radio Salute to Spring Migration

By May 5, 2009 3 comments

The May 2009 installment of Birdwatch Radio is now available with a tasty, thematic Salute to Spring Migration.  Steve Moor, the brains and voice of Birdwatch Radio (no offense, Rich!) gathered twelve terrific guest commentaries. Well, at least most of them are terrific. Here’s the line-up:

  • John Fitzpatrick
  • Douglas Carlson
  • Peter Gordon
  • Julie Zickefoose
  • Dr. Bridget Stutchbury
  • Ray Brown
  • John Sill
  • Alan Pulley
  • Victor Emanuel
  • Miyoko Chu
  • John Riutta
  • Mike O’Connor
  • Clay Taylor
  • … and me

If you can get through my rambling reminiscence, you’ll find a most enjoyable show. Check it out!

  1. I’m a big fan of the birdwatch radio. Steve does a great job of getting the most out of his guests. The only thing I haven’t figured out is how to automatically determine when he has a new podcast. I listened to the pocast about 10,000 birds on one episode and have to say that I’m impressed with all the work you guys put into your blog.

  2. I hadn’t heard of birdwatch radio. Do they have a podcast through iTunes? (I’ll check tonight when I leave work.)

  3. Thanks for the kind words Larry. If you visit the page at http://www.birdwatchradio.com you will see at the very top of the page links that allow you to subscribe through an RSS feed or by way of Itunes.

RSS alerts you when a new program has been posted and Itunes will automatically download it for you….assuming you have an Ipod.

Thanks to Mike for contributing to the podcast and for posting info about our existence. Please tell your friends! :)
