Why? “Landowners often cut deeper into the forest to make room for cattle ranches and soybean farms.” Remove the carbon sinks and increase the amount of methane emitting cattle. Such a protein dilemma… choose to not eat meat and substitute it with soy and you’re still screwing up the environment… damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

Whichever way you look at it it’s a sad fact that this is an “environment dilemma” - if you really want to help the environment looking at what you eat is far more important than changing a few lightbulbs…
