Dig Deep digs even deeper

If you’re into shorebirds and have never looked at Dave Bakewell’s Dig Deep blog before then now would be a good time to visit, as he’s photographed every shorebird that’s passed through Malaysia and Singapore in the last few weeks (I’m exaggerating, but not by much!). His text is a masterclass in how to concisely write about separating adults and immatures too. Absolutely wonderful stuff…

Charlie works for an airline and has birded all over the world for twenty years. He wants to be a writer, and thinks no-one would believe his life could be so charmed if he didn't take photos of as many of the birds he sees as possible. Blogging with 10,000 Birds fits his aims, needs, and insecurities perfectly. Really - do birders get much more fortunate than this?

  1. Thanks for the plug Charlie. Let me know when you’re next in Malaysia and perhaps we can get in some birding around the Penang area!
