European Court shoots down Malta’s hunters

The European Court has ruled that Malta has no special reason to continue spring hunting and that it must stop NOW. The hunters are stunned, green groups are ecstatic, migrant birds are surviving their stopover on the usually blood-soaked archipelago - but for how long will peace reign?     Sorry to all the Brits reading this, but on this one, you’ll have to agree: the EU can be phantastic at times!

  2. I agree actually. They’ve stopped me being ‘retired’ at 55 and now I can go on pushing trollies up and down an aircraft FOREVER… - but hitting those throwbacks in Malta is even better than that!
