The award-winning PBS series NATURE has generously given Blue Planet Film Fest the World Premiere screening of CLOUD: CHALLENGE OF THE STALLIONS ( http://www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/episodes/cloud-challenge-of-the-stallions/introduction/936/). This stunningly beautiful film will be a free event as part of the Fest’s closing night. The film will be premiere on the PBS series, NATURE October 25th.
CLOUD: CHALLENGE OF THE STALLIONS is the latest of three in a series that started in 1995 documenting a wild white mustang from foal to stallion living in the mountains of Montana.
Blue Planet is also pleased to have Arizona horse rescuers Kim Meagher and Skip DeNardi of WildHorse Ranch Rescue here to talk about the 11 wild mustangs they are readying for the first National Adoption Day the Bureau of Land Management is holding later this month in Prescott, AZ.
CLOUD: CHALLENGE OF THE STALLIONS will be screened at 6:30 in our main theater at the Santa Monica Women’s Club, 1210 Fourth Street just south of Wilshire, Santa Monica 90401.
Not bad for a Film Festival that is - of right now - just two days old!
If you live anywhere near Santa Monica and want to get in on the tail end of what looks to be Mira Tweti’s most successful campaign yet get yourself down there ASAP!
