  1. i heard a woodpecker outside my house this morning as i was walking to the bus stop, i went closer to the sound and spotted the little pecker. he was quite small….unfortunately, it wasn’t woody the woodpecker and he didn’t have red hair on his head. =\

    Sounds like a female Downy Woodpecker to me.
