Just for Fun Avian ID Quiz #16

By Jory February 4, 2009 1 comment

As always, the “Just for Fun Avian ID Quiz” is brought to you by Jory Langner, our esteemed Avian Quizmaster, who is being a bit lazy this week…

Turn the table on the quizmaster.  This week’s quiz is short.

  1. Make up a quiz question and post it in the comments.
  2. If you see a quiz question you want to answer, post the answer.

The rules:

  • Topic must be avian in nature.
  • There must be a legitimate answer which you must know and be willing to post next week.
  • If you have more than one quiz question, please post them in separate comments.

I’m out of town and don’t have access to the internet (how shocking!).  When I return, I will see if I can answer any of your questions.

I invite Corey, Charlie, and Mike to see if they can answer any of your questions as well.

Have fun!

Jory is a native Long Islander living just outside of Albany. In 2007 Jory became the "least consistent birder" to see 300 birds in New York State in one year. He has birded the world over but maintains his birding "beginner mind", of which he is inordinately proud. Just ask him. Jory is the 10,000 Birds Avian Quizmaster, coming up with ever more diabolical ways to stump his legion of devoted fans.
