Lunch in Congress Park

wanna play footsie?

Mallard foot for Steph (get over your bird-foot phobia!)

I love eating lunch in Congress Park.  Smack dab in the middle of Saratoga Springs sits this green oasis, filled with green grass, big trees, a merry-go-round, ponds and streams, and flowers.  Get used to pictures of Mallards, bugs, and flowers when you see Congress Park in the title of one of my blog posts because that is what you are going to get.

stop taking the beauty of Mallards for granted

I took the two Mallard shots when he walked up expecting a piece of my delicious sandwich from The Bread Basket in Saratoga Springs.  And no, they aren’t paying for the link, but the food there is so good I just had to let you get a peek.  I strongly recommend the chewy chocolate cookies…mmm…cookies…

I’m back at the keyboard now after having wandered off to the kitchen to get my last two cookies and a glass of milk.  This blogging makes me hungry.  Here’s a honeybee:

another bee? i thought this blog was about birds

Great, now I want some honey.  I have got to stop this nonsense.  Here, have a flower from Phila Street in Saratoga Springs.  I’m going to the grocery store.

tree blossoms

Anyone know what this is?  It’s a tree blossom of some sort.  I have got to learn some botany…
