The Carbon the World Forgot

There’s an excellent (short-ish) post written by Dr Jeff Wells looking at how much carbon is stored in the boreal forests on the consistently interesting “Boreal Bird Blog“. How much? Canada’s boreal forest alone stores upward of 208 billion tons - the global figure is WAY more! Perhaps now might be the time to stop cutting it all down, eh?
