Neil Gilbert of OC Birding found a parrot that he does not know the identity to in Irvine Regional Park, Orange County, California. Does anyone want to help him figure it out? He’s got good pictures here.

It is a hybrid. Most probably:
Yellow-crowned Amazon (Amazona ochrocephala) X Blue-fronted Amazon (Amazona aestiva)
In stead of the yellow-crowned it could also be a yellow-headed (Amazona oratrix) those are closely related.

Some kind of Amazon hybrid.
