The first ever Biggest Week in American Birding brought some serious dollars to Ottawa County businesses and the local press noticed. The more press like this, and the more effort birders make to be visible as birders, the more that birding (and bird habitat) will be respected and appreciated.

Corey is a New Yorker who lived most of his life in upstate New York but has lived in Queens since 2008.
