What makes your lodge special?
Being at an altitude of 1200m it’s a lovely climate with easy access to other fantastic birding spots plus 200+ species in the lodge grounds, many of which are Atlantic Rainforest endemics. Great hosts and guides, good home-cooked food, and all while supporting a long-term environmental project.

Any time of the year is good!
Is your lodge involved in conservation efforts? If yes, please describe them.
The lodge has a long-term reforestation project, working hard to bring back as much original forest to some depleted areas that were originally monoculture plantations.

Come prepared for lots of birds! Usual lightweight clothing for neo-tropical birding conditions.
