You should screenshot the page and show it to advertisers. In my line of work I look for influences all the time. Will explain more next time I see you at Jamaica Bay Wildlife
Damn..How did I get on that list?
Clearly we all deserve riches, via the following formulae.
Step one. Blog.
Step two ?????
Step three. Profit!
@Vinny: Way ahead of you…not that I wouldn’t want to compare notes!
@Dawn: I don’t know, because “Social Media Maven” is what comes to mind when one thinks of you?
@Duncan: Maybe we should go talk to Vinny? Either that or declare war and destroy the number 2 thereby making profit only one step from blogging.
@Corey~Yeah..I was going to write in my first comment~is it because I am a Blabbermouth?..Yeah that fits. 🙂
Interesting article. I knew it was a big business, but not that it was THAT big.
Perhaps you should e-mail that to Warren Buffet? Perhaps get him to invest a mil or two?
It is interesting. The ranking algorithm they describe is based on links, with weighting given to things like reciprocal links. So, the influence is based on how many other bloggers you’re linked to? I don’t get how that determines influence amongst potential customers. Google also uses a link-based algorithm, though, and you know where that got them.
