After the last quiz, which proved to be not-at-all diabolical, I vowed to make the next one a doozy. And I think I have succeeded. There are four images below, all of which are migrant birds that have come through Queens in the last week. Your task is to figure out which species is in which picture. Make sure that you leave your guesses in the comments and that you give the full species name for each guess (if you think a bird is a Song Sparrow say that, not just “sparrow”). Answers will follow eventually, and if this proves too diabolical I might even drop a clue or two so make sure to check back as the weekend rolls on. Good luck and good birding!
