We here at 10,000 Birds believe that every bird is beautiful and, moreover, that every part of every bird is beautiful. Even we, however, tend not to stare too long or too hard at the nether regions of ducks dabbling for dinner. We understand that some of our readers really, really like duck butts though, so we figured we had better give you, dear reader, exactly what you want. Here then, are duck butts, Mallard duck butts to be exact. We even have both a male duck butt and a female duck butt for you. We only ask that you not tell us why you like duck butts so much. We really do not want to know. Honestly.
Without further ado, duck butts.

Hahahahaha. I guess I’m one of those pervs.
Did you want Woodcock? We have them performing now… ~55 miles East of NYC on the south shore.
I plan on doing an entire post on bird butts sometime in the future. I’m sure you, Corey, will not want to miss it (don’t worry, I’ll give you a heads up). I’m not sure why Jennifer is asking about the Woodcock, are you?
@Bonnie: Perv!!!
@Jennifer Clement: Thanks?
@Larry: I can’t wait! And I am not going near that set-up line… 🙂
They’re quite decorous duck butts*. I have rather too many photos of waterfowl posteriors as their owners dabble or dive just as the shutter clicks.

That’s some fine tail there…
We see duck butts often here in Christchurch. We live right near the river, and the paradise ducks and canada geese are forever showing us their butts… This page makes me smile 🙂 Love your photography… Thanks!
I am interested I using you pictures could I have your permission ?
Thanks, WC
@WC Litzinger: Certainly not without more information as to what you would use them for.
Interesting, suggestive shots !
Today, the internet made me happy. Great to know that seeing duck butts bobbing up and down makes so many other people smile around the world, hehe 🙂
