This week I have been watching a pair of otters in a small pond in Kissimmee. They been mating. Quite noisy. I have never seen this before. The pair have been in the pond and I have watched their behaviour quite closely. The little female is a great fisherman. I watched her devour at least 6 fish within an hour. It is funny that you mentioned seeing turkey vultures near the otter. The next day after watching the otters, I too saw the vultures, they were in the area that the otter was eating the fish. I am assuming that they were eating the fish scraps.
