Do you have some cash burning a hole in your pocket? Do you have a blank spot on your wall just begging for some beautiful bird artwork? Well, David Allen Sibley has some art for sale. And while you’re buying some for you how about buying me either the raven or the shearwaters? I’m not picky…

I’m partial to the Skua myself.
There are some lovely, lovely birds there. I have a very small collection of bird art, my favorite piece being an original watercolor of, don’t laugh, a dead downy woodpecker. I met the artist, Todd Telander, at the ABA 2000 convention in Ft. Collins, Colorado. I kept going back to Todd’s booth during the week, and finally summoned the nerve to talk to him about buying this piece. We reached an agreement that I would put down a deposit and then pay the remainder in installments. Todd was very generous and let me take the artwork home with me. I had it rematted and framed and it hangs in my office as I write this.
I would appreciate it if whoever buys the raven or shearwaters for Corey could also pick up the three-toed woodpecker for me!
No! No! I want the Raven. 😀
