Where Are You Birding This Final Weekend of April 2011?

Bird watchers on my latitude and perhaps yours as well have reason to look forward to this coming weekend. I can’t promise an end to the wacky weather you’ve probably experienced, but can assure you that April is ending. Why does that matter? May offers, as you may know, some of the best migratory bird action of the year in temperate zones around the world. If you consider yourself a birder, some of the best moments of your year are dead ahead! So what will you be doing this weekend and will you be birding? Share your plans in the comments below.

This weekend, I’ll be in Rochester and Corey will be in Queens; our plan is to let the birds come to us!
