The last weekend of April may as well be May, which we know is a major month of migration. Don’t miss it!
I have family visiting this weekend, which means my chances of getting out into the field seem slim. Wish me luck! Corey needs some luck as well; he missed the vagrant Swainson’s Warbler in Central Park, so he’ll be looking for his own in Queens. How about you? Where will you be this weekend and will you be birding? Share your plans in the comments below.
Whatever your plans this weekend, make time to enjoy SkyWatch Friday. Also be sure to come back Monday to share your best bird of the weekend!
Hopefully checking some spot in Costa Rica for bamboo birds.
The Camargue, hoping for some late shorebirds and … surprises.
El Magote, north of La Paz, Mexico, looking to photograph Mangrove Warblers.
