Ah, spring is here (at least on my side of the world.) Rather than wax with my usual eloquence on vernal splendors, I’d like to share a silly song that always comes to mind this time of year. My kids just loved the movie Lost in the Woods by Sisbro Studios. Laura and Robert Sams clearly love nature and film making and kids, all of which come together splendidly in Lost in the Woods. Their goofy movie always brings a smile to our faces, especially this little number: Spring is Here.
Neither Corey nor I know exactly where we’ll be birding this weekend, but we’ll both be out there. How about you? How will you be celebrating the first weekend of this new season and will you be birding? Share your comments in the comments below.
Whatever your plans this weekend, make time to enjoy SkyWatch Friday. Also be sure to come back Monday to share your best bird of the weekend!
Under the piercing blue skies of Granite Gorge live the most adorable Rock Wallabies!
I was planning on walking to Red Rock to see some fur seals tomorrow, but the weather looks heinous.
I like it. Lovely place, nice shot.
This looks like a wonderful place to spend a few hours far away from crowds of people!
