I’m on the move this weekend. With hope, some interesting birds are as well. How about you?
I’ll be in NYC but unlikely to be birding this weekend. With hope, rare raptors will attend my passage along the highway. Corey will mostly be watching Cardinals this weekend but may find time for more natural bird watching! How about you? Where will you be this weekend and will you be birding? Share your plans in the comments below.
Whatever your plans this weekend, make time to enjoy SkyWatch Friday. Also be sure to come back Monday to share your best bird of the weekend!
Enjoy gorgeous vistas like this exquisite cloudscape over Dunfanaghey, Ireland
(Find out what Alan spied under those Irish skies…)
Sparrowing with the Linnaeans tomorrow at Sandy Hook, New Jersey. Guaranteed to learn a lot about White-throated Sparrows–and hoping to see another dozen species by the time we’re done.
Hopefully ocean watching in southern Delaware either today or tomorrow. Looking to pick up year birds such as scoters, loons, Brown Pelican, and possibly something more unusual like a jaeger.
Already went….today I got the WOOD SANDPIPER in Rhode Island at Marsh Meadows! What a BIRD!
