I am! I will be in Ohio for the middle weekend of September with the entire American birding world. Who else out there is going to join us? If you don’t go you will miss the guaranteed Kirtland’s Warbler!* And how do folks feel about we bird bloggers getting together for lunch one day?

Corey is a New Yorker who lived most of his life in upstate New York but has lived in Queens since 2008. He's only been birding since 2005 but has garnered a respectable life list by birding whenever he wasn't working as a union representative or spending time with his family. He lives in Forest Hills with Daisy and Desmond Shearwater. His bird photographs have appeared on the Today Show, in Birding, Living Bird Magazine, Bird Watcher's Digest, and many other fine publications. He is also the author of the American Birding Association Field Guide to the Birds of New York.
I wish, but not this year unless I hit the lottery… but that will involve having to buy a ticket first, so yeah… not this year.
You flying or renting VW bus?

Awesome that you’ll be there, man! Liz and I will, too, representing the ABA and Birder’s Exchange. I’m hugely looking forward to the MBS. There are going to be huge numbers of wonderful people there and doubtless quite a few birds, too.
I’m totally game for some kind of blogger/social media birder meet up.
